திருப்பூர் கல்வெட்டுகள்

திருப்பூரின் கொடுவாய் அருகே உள்ள கோவில்பாளையத்தில் உள்ள தாளீகீஸ்வரர் கோயிலின் சுவர்களில் 'வட்டெழுத்து' பதித்த ஒரு கல்வெட்டு மற்றும் தமிழ் எழுத்து பதித்த எட்டு கல்வெட்டுகள் கண்டுபிடிக்கப் பட்டுள்ளன. இது 1,100 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு மேல் பழமையானது என மதிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. 'வட்டெழுத்து' பதிக்கப்பட்ட கல்வெட்டு ஆனது, கி.பி. (CE) 5 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டு முதல் கி.பி. 12 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டு வரையில் நடைமுறையில் இருந்த தமிழ் மொழியினை எழுதச் செய்வதற்குப் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்ட எழுத்து வடிவமாகும். எட்டு தமிழ் கல்வெட்டுகளில் ஒன்று கொங்கு சோழ மன்னன் வீர இராஜேந்திரன் (1207- 1256) அவர்கள் எழுதியது. மீதமுள்ளவை அவரது பேரன் விக்ரம சோழன் அவர்களால் (1273-1305 CE) எழுத்தப் பட்டது.இக்கிராமம் ஆனது தொன்மை வாய்ந்த கொங்குநாடு பகுதியின் 'பொங்கலூர்காநாடு' என்ற பகுதியில் உள்ளதாக கல்வெட்டுகள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன.

Tirupur inscriptions

❖ One ‘Vattezhuthu’ and eight Tamil inscriptions were found on the walls of Thaleekeeiswarar Temple at Kovilpalayam near Koduvai in Tirupur. ❖ It is estimated to be more than 1,100 years old. ❖ The ‘Vattezhuthu’ inscription, was a form of Tamil writing script that was prevalent from 5th Century Common Era (CE) to 12th Century CE. ❖ Among the eight Tamil inscriptions was one by Kongu Chola Ruler Vira Rajendran (1207-1256). ❖ The rest were by his grandson Vikrama Chola (1273-1305 CE). ❖ The inscriptions indicate that the village falls in the ‘Pongalurkanadu’ of the ancient Kongu Nadu.

உலகிலேயே வேளாண் பொருட்களை அதிகளவில் ஏற்றுமதி செய்யும் எட்டாவது நாடாக இந்தியா தனது நிலையைத் தக்க வைத்துக் கொண்டுள்ளது. 2022 ஆம் ஆண்டில் சுமார்55 பில்லியன் டாலராக இருந்த இந்தியாவின் வேளாண் ஏற்றுமதியானது 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டில் 51 பில்லியன் டாலராகக் குறைந்தது. ஒட்டு மொத்தமாக, ஏற்றுமதியில் முன்னணியில் உள்ள பத்து நாடுகள் 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டில் உலக ஏற்றுமதியில் 71.9 சதவீதப் பங்கினைக் கொண்டுள்ளன. இந்திய நாடானது 2022 ஆம் ஆண்டு மே மாதத்தில் பதிவான கோதுமையின் ஏற்றுமதி மீதும், 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை மாதத்தில் பாஸ்மதி ரகம் சாராத அரிசியின் ஏற்றுமதிக்கும் 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் மாதம் முதல் சர்க்கரையின் ஏற்றுமதிக்கும் தடை விதித்தது. 2022 ஆம் ஆண்டில் 799 பில்லியனாக இருந்த அளவினை விட 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டில் 836 பில்லியன் டாலர் மதிப்பிலான வேளாண் பொருட்களை ஏற்றுமதி செய்ததன் மூலம் ஐரோப்பிய ஒன்றியம் தனது முன்னணி நிலையைத் தக்க வைத்துக் கொண்டுள்ளது. அமெரிக்காவானது 198 பில்லியன் டாலர்கள் மதிப்பிலான வேளாண் பொருட்கள் ஏற்றுமதியுடன் 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டில் இரண்டாவது இடத்தில் தொடர்ந்து இடம் பெற்று உள்ளது. பிரேசில் 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டில் 157 பில்லியன் டாலர்களுடன் மூன்றாவது இடத்தைத் தக்க வைத்துக் கொண்டுள்ளது. 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டில் நான்காவது பெரிய வேளாண் பொருட்கள் ஏற்றுமதியாளராக சீனா திகழ்ந்தது.  வேளாண் பொருட்கள் ஏற்றுமதியில் உலகளவில் முன்னணியில் உள்ள பத்து நாடுகளில் கனடா, மெக்சிகோ, இந்தோனேசியா மற்றும் ஆஸ்திரேலியா ஆகியவை அடங்கும்.

2023 ஆம் ஆண்டில், இந்தியாவில் 18,378 உறுப்பு மாற்று அறுவை சிகிச்சைகள் பதிவு செய்யப் பட்டு, அதில் 42 பெறுநர்கள் ஒன்றுக்கு மேற்பட்ட உறுப்புகளைப் பெற்ற நிலையில் இதன் விளைவாக மொத்தம் 18,336 பெறுநர்கள் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளனர். உறுப்பு தானம் பெற்றவர்களில் 30% பெண்கள் ஆவர். 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டில், இந்தியாவில் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்ட அனைத்து உறுப்பு மாற்று அறுவை சிகிச்சைகளில் சுமார் 10% ஆனது வெளிநாட்டினருக்கு மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்ட சிகிச்சையாகும். உறுப்பு தானம் பெற்ற 18,336 நபர்களில் 1,851 பேர் வெளிநாட்டினர் ஆவர். அதிக எண்ணிக்கையிலான இந்த உறுப்பு மாற்றுச் சிகிச்சை நடைமுறைகள் டெல்லி, ராஜஸ்தான் மற்றும் மேற்கு வங்காளத்தில் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டன. NOTTO தரவுகளின்படி, 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டில் மேற்கொள்ளப் பட்ட 1,851 வெளிநாட்டு மாற்று அறுவை சிகிச்சை வழக்குகளில், ஒன்பது அறுவை சிகிச்சையில் மட்டுமே உயிரிழந்தவரிடமிருந்து உறுப்புகள் பெறப்பட்டன. டெல்லியில் அதிகபட்சமாக 1,445 அறுவை சிகிச்சைகளும், ராஜஸ்தானில் 116 அறுவை சிகிச்சைகளும், மேற்கு வங்காளத்தில் 88 அறுவை சிகிச்சைகளும் மேற் கொள்ளப் பட்டுள்ளன.

❖ In 2023, India recorded 18,378 organ transplants, with 42 recipients receiving more than one organ, resulting in a total of 18,336 recipients. ❖ Among the recipients, 30% were women. ❖ In 2023, nearly 10% of all organ transplants in India involved foreign nationals. ❖ Out of 18,336 organ recipients, 1,851 were foreigners. ❖ The highest number of these procedures occurred in Delhi, Rajasthan, and West Bengal. ❖ According to NOTTO data, of the 1,851 foreign transplant cases in 2023, only nine involved organs from deceased donors.  ❖ Delhi had the highest number with 1,445 cases, followed by Rajasthan with 116, and West Bengal with 88.

Higher educational expenses in Tamilnadu

❖ The Tamil Nadu government will bear the higher educational expenses of students from State government schools who have been admitted to prestigious institutions in various parts of the country. ❖ The government would also bear the initial cost of travel for students of State government schools who enrolled in prestigious institutions abroad. ❖ The number of students qualifying for higher education in top institutions are increased to 274 in 2023 from 75 students in 2022. ❖ This year so far, the count is 447 (institutions in India).

உயர் கல்விச் செலவினங்கள்

நாட்டின் பல்வேறு பகுதிகளில் உள்ள புகழ்பெற்ற கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் சேர்க்கப் பட்டுள்ள மாநில அரசுப் பள்ளிகளைச் சேர்ந்த மாணவர்களின் உயர்கல்விக்கானச் செலவினை தமிழக அரசே ஏற்க உள்ளது. வெளிநாட்டில் உள்ள புகழ்பெற்ற கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் சேரும் மாநில அரசுப் பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்கான பயணச் செலவினையும் அரசே ஏற்க உள்ளது. 2022 ஆம் ஆண்டில் 75 மாணவர்களாக இருந்த, உயர் கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் உயர் கல்விக்கு தகுதி பெறும் மாணவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கையானது 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டில் 274 ஆக அதிகரித்துள்ளது. இந்த ஆண்டு இதுவரை இந்த எண்ணிக்கை 447 (இந்தியாவில் உள்ள நிறுவனங்கள்) ஆக உள்ளது.
