தூய்மை/ பசுமை வழி தாவரங்கள் திட்டம் 2024

மத்திய அமைச்சரவையானது பசுமை வழி தாவரங்கள் (Clean Plant) திட்டத்திற்கு (CPP) ஒப்புதல் அளித்துள்ளது. இது இந்தியாவில் தோட்டக்கலைப் பயிர்களின் விளைச்சல் மற்றும் உற்பத்தித் திறனை அதிகரிப்பதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டது. நாடு முழுவதும் உள்ள பழப் பயிர்களின் தரத்தை உயர்த்துவதையும் CPP இலக்காகக் கொண்டுள்ளது. பயிர் விளைச்சலை அதிகரிக்கவும், வருமான வாய்ப்புகளை மேம்படுத்தவும் வைரஸ்தொற்று இல்லாத, உயர்தர நடவுப் பொருட்களைப் பெற விவசாயிகளுக்கு உதவும் வகையில் இத்திட்டம் மூன்று முக்கிய கூறுகளைக் கொண்டுள்ளது. பழங்கள் மற்றும் காய்கறிகள் உற்பத்தியில் சீனாவுக்கு அடுத்தபடியாக இந்தியா இரண்டாவது இடத்தில் உள்ளது. 2013-14 முதல் 2023-24 ஆம் ஆண்டு வரை 24 மில்லியன் ஹெக்டேராக இருந்த தோட்டக் கலைப் பயிர்களின் சாகுபடி பரப்பானது 28.63 மில்லியன் ஹெக்டேராக உயர்ந்துள்ளது. 277.4 மில்லியன் மெட்ரிக் டன்னாக இருந்த தோட்டக்கலைப் பயிர்களின் உற்பத்தி என்பது தற்போது 352 மில்லியன் மெட்ரிக் டன்னாக அதிகரித்துள்ளது. இந்தியா புதிய (செயல்முறைக்கு உட்படுத்தாத) பழங்களை அதிகளவில் இறக்குமதி மற்றும் ஏற்றுமதி செய்யும் நாடாகவும் உள்ளது. 2023-24 ஆம் நிதியாண்டில், இந்தியா சுமார் 1.15 பில்லியன் டாலர் மதிப்புள்ள புதிய பழங்களை ஏற்றுமதி செய்தது அதே நேரத்தில் சுமார் 2.73 பில்லியன் டாலர் மதிப்புள்ள பழங்களை இறக்குமதி செய்தது.

Clean Plant Program 2024

❖ The Union Cabinet approved the Clean Plant Program (CPP). ❖ It is aimed at increasing the yield and productivity of horticulture crops in India. ❖ The CPP is also targeted at enhancing the quality of fruit crops across the nation. ❖ The programme has three main components geared towards helping farmers obtain virus-free, high-quality planting material to increase crop yields and improve income opportunities. ❖ India is the second largest producer of fruits and vegetables in the world after China. ❖ From 2013-14 to 2023-24, the area under horticulture crops has risen from 24 million hectares to 28.63 million hectares. ❖ Its Production has increased from 277.4 million metric tonnes (mt) to 352 million mt. ❖ India is also a major importer and exporter of fresh fruits. ❖ In the financial year 2023-24, India exported fresh fruits worth $1.15 billion, while it imported fruits worth $2.73 billion.

புதிய இராம்சர் தளங்கள் இந்தியா

திருப்பூரில் உள்ள நஞ்சராயன் பறவைகள் சரணாலயம் மற்றும் விழுப்புரத்தில் உள்ள கழுவேலி பறவைகள் சரணாலயம் ஆகியவை சமீபத்தில் சர்வதேச அங்கீகாரத்தினை பெற்றுள்ளன. இந்தப் புதிய சேர்க்கைகளின் மூலம், தமிழகத்தில் உள்ள இராம்சர் தளங்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 18 ஆக உயர்ந்துள்ளது என்ற நிலையில் இது இந்திய மாநிலங்களிலேயே அதிகபட்ச எண்ணிக்கையாகும். மத்தியப் பிரதேசத்தில் உள்ள தவா நீர்த்தேக்கம் ஆனது தற்போது இராம்சர் பட்டியலில் சேர்க்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இது இந்தியாவில் உள்ள இராம்சர் தளங்களின் (மொத்த இராம்சர் தளங்களின் பரப்பு 13,58,068 ஹெக்டேர் பரப்பளவு) எண்ணிக்கையை 85 ஆக உயர்த்தியுள்ளது. 1982 முதல் 2013 ஆம் ஆண்டு வரை, நாட்டில் உள்ள இராம்சர் தளங்களின் பட்டியலில் மொத்தம் 26 தளங்கள் சேர்க்கப்பட்டன. 2014 முதல் 2024 ஆம் ஆண்டு வரை, இந்தியா 59 புதிய ஈரநிலங்களை இராம்சர் தளங்களின் பட்டியலில் சேர்த்துள்ளது.தற்போது, தமிழ்நாடு அதிகபட்ச இராம்சர் தளங்களை (18 தளங்கள்) கொண்டுள்ளது, அதைத் தொடர்ந்து உத்தரப் பிரதேசம் (10 தளங்கள்) இடம் பெற்றுள்ளது. ஐக்கியப் பேரரசு (175) மற்றும் மெக்சிகோ (142) ஆகியவை மிகவும் அதிகபட்ச இராம்சர் தளங்களைக் கொண்டுள்ளன. பொலிவியா நாடானது அதிக பரப்பளவை (148,000 சதுர கிமீ) இந்த உடன்படிக்கையின் பாதுகாப்பை பெறுவதற்கான இப்பட்டியலில் சேர்த்துள்ளது.

New Ramsar sites 2024 - India

❖ Nanjarayan bird sanctuary in Tirupur and Kazhuveli bird sanctuary in Villupuram had recently received international recognition. ❖ With this new addition, the number of Ramsar sites in Tamil Nadu has increased to 18, highest among the states. ❖ Tawa Reservoir in Madhya Pradesh is also included in the Ramsar list. ❖ This takes our tally to 85 Ramsar sites, covering an area of 13,58,068 hectare in India. ❖ From 1982 to 2013, a total of 26 sites were added to the list of Ramsar sites in the country. ❖ From 2014 to 2024, the country has added 59 new wetlands to the list of Ramsar sites. ❖ Currently, Tamil Nadu harbours the maximum number of Ramsar sites (18 sites), followed by Uttar Pradesh (10 sites). ❖ The United Kingdom (175) and Mexico (142) have the maximum Ramsar sites. ❖ Bolivia spans the largest area, with the 148,000 sq. km. under the Convention’s protection.

இந்தூரின் இந்தியத் தொழில்நுட்பக் கல்விக் கழகம் ஆனது பாதுகாப்பு ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் மேம்பாட்டு அமைப்பிற்கு வேண்டி பத்து இணை உராய்வு மின்னியல் சார் சிறிய மின்னியற்றி (TENG) அடிப்படையிலான காலணிகளின் அடித்தோல் பகுதியில் அமைந்த ஆற்றல் உருவாக்க அலகுகளை வழங்கியுள்ளது. இந்த காலணிகள், மனித இயக்கத்திலிருந்து உருவாகும் ஆற்றலைப் பயன்படுத்தச் செய்வதற்காக வேண்டி வடிவமைக்கப் பட்டுள்ளன என்ற நிலையில் இது மின்னணுச் சாதனங்களுக்கான நிலையான ஆற்றல் மூலத்தை வழங்குகிறது. இந்த காலணிகள் மனிதர்களின் ஒவ்வொரு அடியிலும் ஆற்றலை உருவாக்குவதற்காகமேம்பட்ட உராய்வு மின்னியல் இணைகளைப் பயன்படுத்துகின்றன. - இந்தக் காலணிகளில் RFID மற்றும் நேரடி இருப்பிட கண்காணிப்புக்கான செயற்கைக் கோள் அடிப்படையிலான புவியிடங்காட்டி தொகுதி போன்றவை உள்ளிட்ட அதிநவீன கண்காணிப்பு தொழில்நுட்பமும் பொருத்தப் பட்டுள்ளது.

❖ Tamil Nadu government announced the recipients of Good Governance Awards, Chief Minister’s Police Medal for Excellence in Investigation and Chief Minister’s Police Medal for Excellence in Public Service for 2024. ❖ It also announced recipients for certificates for innovative initiatives. ❖ Six officers will receive Good Governance Awards. o They are: J. Innocent Divya, S. Divyadharshini, V.P. Jeyaseelan, K. Elam bahavath, N. Gopalakrishnan and D. Vanitha. ❖ 10 police officers would receive the Chief Minister’s Police Medal for Excellence in Investigation. o They are: Deputy Superintendents of Police N. Suresh, S. Sowmiya and S. Pugazhenthi Ganesh; Inspectors K. Punitha, T. Vinothkumar, I. Sornavalli, N. Parvathi, P. Radha, R. Dheivarani and A. Anbarasi. ❖ IGP T.S. Anbu, SP E. Karthik, DSP C.R. Boopathirajan, Inspector K.
