மக்கள் தொகைக் கணக்கெடுப்பு 2025

மிகவும் தாமதப் படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ள பத்தாண்டு கால மக்கள்தொகைக் கணக்கெடுப்பு மற்றும் தேசிய மக்கள்தொகை பதிவேட்டை (NPR) புதுப்பிக்கும் பணியானது 2025 ஆம் ஆண்டின் தொடக்கத்தில் தொடங்கப்பட உள்ளது. இதன் தரவுகளானது 2026 ஆம் ஆண்டில் அறிவிக்கப் படும். இந்தியாவின் மக்கள்தொகைக் கணக்கெடுப்பானது 1951 ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் 10 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு ஒருமுறை நடத்தப்படுகிறது. ஆனால் கோவிட்-19 பெருந்தொற்று காரணமாக 2021 ஆம் ஆண்டில் மக்கள் தொகைக் கணக்கெடுப்புப் பணியை மேற்கொள்ள முடியவில்லை. இதனால் மக்கள் தொகைக் கணக்கெடுப்பு சுழற்சி மாற வாய்ப்புள்ளது. எனவே, அடுத்தக் கணக்கெடுப்பு சுழற்சி காலம் 2025-2035 ஆகவும், அதற்கு அடுத்ததாக 2035-2045 ஆகவும் இருக்கும். இந்த மக்கள் தொகைக் கணக்கெடுப்பின் போது குடிமக்களிடம் 31 கேள்விகள் கேட்கப் படும். இந்திய மக்கள் தொகைக் கணக்கெடுப்பு ஆனது பத்தாண்டுகளுக்கு ஒரு முறை பதிவு செய்யப் படுகிறது என்பதோடு முதல் கணக்கெடுப்பு ஆனது 1872 ஆம் ஆண்டில் நடத்தப் பட்டது. சுதந்திரத்திற்குப் பிந்தைய முதல் மக்கள் தொகைக் கணக்கெடுப்பு ஆனது, 1951 ஆம் ஆண்டில் பதிவு செய்யப் பட்டதோடு, கடைசியாக 2011 ஆம் ஆண்டில் கணக்கெடுப்பு மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது. 2011 ஆம் ஆண்டு கணக்கெடுப்பின் தரவுகளின்படி, சில முக்கியத் தரவுகள் இந்தியாவின் மொத்த மக்கள் தொகையானது 121 கோடி, பாலின விகிதம் 1,000 ஆண்களுக்கு 940 பெண்கள், எழுத்தறிவு விகிதம் 74.04% ஆகியன ஆகும். மக்கள்தொகை வளர்ச்சியானது 2001 முதல் 2011 ஆம் ஆண்டு வரையில் 17.64% ஆக இருந்தது.

Census 2025

பிபேக் தேப்ராய்

2017 ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் பிரதமரின் பொருளாதார ஆலோசனைக் குழுத் தலைவராக இருந்த எழுத்தாளரும் பொருளாதார நிபுணருமான பிபேக் தேப்ராய் காலமானார். அவர், முந்தையத் திட்ட ஆணையத்திற்குப் பதிலாக நிறுவப்பட்ட நிதி ஆயோக் அமைப்பின் உறுப்பினராகவும் இருந்தார். அவர் பகவத் கீதை, வேதங்கள், இராமாயணம் மற்றும் மகாபாரதம் ஆகியவற்றை ஆங்கிலத்தில் மொழிபெயர்த்துள்ளார். அவர் 1997 மற்றும் 2005 ஆகிய ஆண்டுகளுக்கு இடையில் இராஜீவ் காந்தி தற்கால ஆய்வுகள் கல்வி நிறுவனத்தின் (RGICS) இயக்குநராகவும் பணியாற்றினார்.

Bibek Debroy

❖ The author and economist Bibek Debroy, who had been the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council Chairman since 2017, passed away. ❖ He was also a member of the Niti Aayog, which had replaced the erstwhile Planning Commission. ❖ He had translated the Bhagavad Gita, the Vedas, the Ramayana and the Mahabharata into English. ❖ He served as director of the Rajiv Gandhi Institute for Contemporary Studies (RGICS) between 1997 and 2005.

Digital infrastructure in India 2024

தேசியக் கையெழுத்துப் பிரதிகள் திட்டம் 2024

மத்தியக் கலாச்சாரத் துறை அமைச்சகம் ஆனது தேசியக் கையெழுத்துப் பிரதிகள் திட்டத்தினை (NMM) "புதுப்பித்து மீண்டும் தொடங்க" உள்ளது. இந்தியாவில் உள்ள பண்டைய நூல்களைப் பாதுகாக்க உதவும் தன்னாட்சி அமைப்பை உருவாக்குவது குறித்தும் அது பரிசீலித்து வருகிறது.  தற்போது, NMM ஆனது இந்திரா காந்தி தேசிய கலை மையத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியாக உள்ளது. தேசியக் கையெழுத்துப் பிரதிகள் ஆணையம் என்று பெயரிடப்பட உள்ள இந்தப் புதிய அமைப்பு ஆனது அமைச்சகத்தின் கீழான ஒரு தன்னாட்சி அமைப்பாக இருக்கும். * இன்று வரை 52 லட்சம் கையெழுத்துப் பிரதிகளின் மேல் நிலை தரவுகள் தயாரிக்கப் பட்டு சுமார் 3 லட்சத்திற்கும் அதிகமான தலைப்புகளில் எண்ணிம மயமாக்கப் பட்டு உள்ளன என்று NMM தெரிவித்துள்ளது. இந்தியாவில் உள்ள 80% கையெழுத்துப் பிரதிகள் தனியார் /தனி நபரிடம் உள்ளன.

National Mission for Manuscripts 2024

❖ The Union Ministry of Culture is set to “revive and relaunch” the National Mission for Manuscripts (NMM). ❖ It is also considering the formation of an autonomous body to help preserve ancient texts in India. ❖ Presently, NMM is a part of the Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts. ❖ The new body, likely to be named the National Manuscripts Authority, will be an autonomous entity under the Ministry. ❖ The NMM informed that till date a metadata of 52 lakh manuscripts has been prepared and roughly over 3 lakh titles have been digitised. ❖ Around 80% of manuscripts in India are with private parties.

ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபையின் வர்த்தகம் மற்றும் மேம்பாட்டு அமைப்பானது (UNCTAD), 2024 ஆம் ஆண்டு கடல்சார் போக்குவரத்து மதிப்பாய்வு அறிக்கையினை வெளியிட்டு உள்ளது. 2022 ஆம் ஆண்டில் பதிவான சரிவிற்குப் பிறகு மீளத் தொடங்கிய கடல் சார் வர்த்தகம் ஆனது 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டில் 2.4% வளர்ச்சியடைந்து 12,292 மில்லியன் டன்களை எட்டியது. "2023 ஆம் ஆண்டில் வெறும் 0.3% மட்டுமே மிகவும் வளர்ச்சியடைந்த கொள்கலன் சார் வர்த்தகம் ஆனது, 2024 ஆம் ஆண்டில் 3.5% ஆக உயரும் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுவதாக இந்த அறிக்கை குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளது. 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டில் கொள்கலன் கப்பல் போக்குவரத்து வர்த்தகம் ஆனது சுமார் 8.2% அதிகரித்துள்ளது. உலகளாவியக் கப்பல் போக்குவரத்து (டன்-மைல்கள்) செயல்பாடு ஆனது 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டில் 4.2% அதிகரித்ததோடு இது செலவினங்கள் மற்றும் உமிழ்வை அதிகரித்து உள்ளது. சூயஸ் மற்றும் பனாமா கால்வாய் போன்ற முக்கிய கடல்சார் தடைகள் காணப்படும் பகுதிகள் தீர்க்கப்படாத இடையூறுகளை எதிர்கொண்டன.
