ரியாத் வடிவமைப்பு சட்ட ஒப்பந்தம்

சுமார் இருபது ஆண்டு கால பேச்சுவார்த்தைகளுக்குப் பிறகு, இந்தியா உள்ளிட்ட உலக அறிவுசார் சொத்து அமைப்பின் (WIPO) உறுப்பினர் நாடுகள் ஆனது வடிவமைப்பு சட்ட ஒப்பந்தத்தை (DLT) ஏற்றுக்கொண்டுள்ளன. அவை ரியாத் வடிவமைப்பு சட்ட ஒப்பந்தத்தின் இறுதிச் சட்டத்தில் கையெழுத்திட்டன. இது பல்வேறு நாடுகளில் உள்ள தொழில்துறை வடிவமைப்புகளின் நடைமுறைகளை ஒருங்கிணைக்கவும், பதிவுச் செயல்முறைகளை எளிதாக்கவும் முயல்கிறது. கடந்த இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளில் உள்நாட்டுத் தாக்கல் 120 சதவீதம் அதிகரித்துள்ளதுடன், கடந்த பத்தாண்டுகளில், இந்தியாவில் வடிவமைப்பு பதிவுகள் சுமார் மூன்று மடங்காக அதிகரித்துள்ளன.

Riyadh Design Law Treaty

❖ After nearly two decades of the negotiations, the member states of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) including India adopted the Design Law Treaty (DLT). ❖ They signed the Final Act of the Riyadh Design Law Treaty. ❖ It seeks to harmonise procedures and simplify registration processes of industrial designs in different countries. ❖ Over the past decade, design registrations in India have tripled, with domestic filings increasing by 120 per cent in the last two years.

MSME துறைகளில் வேலைவாய்ப்புகள் உருவாக்கம்

இந்தியாவின் குறு, சிறு மற்றும் நடுத்தர நிறுவனங்கள் (MSMEs) ஆனது, கடந்த 15 மாதங்களில் சுமார் 10 கோடி புதிய வேலைவாய்ப்புகளை உருவாக்கியுள்ளன. கடந்த ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் மாதத்தில், 2.33 கோடியாக இருந்த பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட MSME நிறுவனங்களின் எண்ணிக்கையானது, 5.49 கோடியாக உயர்ந்துள்ளது. இந்த நிறுவனங்களால் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட வேலைவாய்ப்புகளின் எண்ணிக்கையானது, இந்த காலகட்டத்தில் 13.15 கோடியிலிருந்து 23.14 கோடியாக உயர்ந்துள்ளது. மொத்த வேலைவாய்ப்பில் 2.38 கோடி முறைசாரா நுண் உற்பத்தி அலகுகள் மூலமான 2.84 கோடி வேலைவாய்ப்புகளும், பெண்களுக்கான 5.23 கோடி வேலை வாய்ப்புகளும் அடங்கும்.

MSME’s Jobs creation 2024

❖ India’s micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have added nearly 10 crore new positions over the past 15 months. ❖ The number of registered MSMEs has gone up to 5.49 crore from 2.33 crore in August last year. ❖ The number of jobs reported by these enterprises has shot up to 23.14 crore from 13.15 crore during this period. ❖ The total employment also included 2.84 crore jobs by 2.38 crore informal micro units and 5.23 crore women employment.

சதய விழா 2024

சோழப் பேரரசர் முதலாம் இராஜராஜ சோழனின் பிறந்தநாள் ஆனது ஒவ்வோர் ஆண்டும் சதய விழாவின் போது தஞ்சாவூரில் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. சதய விழாவானது தமிழ் மாதமான ஐப்பசியில் (அக்டோபர் மாதத்தின் நடுப்பகுதி முதல் நவம்பர் மாதத்தின் நடுப்பகுதி வரை) நடைபெறுகிறது. கி.பி. 947 ஆம் ஆண்டில் அருள்மொழி வர்மன் எனும் பெயரில் பிறந்த அவர் வரலாற்றின் மிகச் சிறந்த மற்றும் தொலைநோக்கு ஆட்சியாளர்களில் ஒருவராக இவர் மிகவும் புகழ் பெற்றார். இராஜராஜ சோழனின் ஆட்சியானது, கி.பி. 985 முதல் 1014 ஆம் ஆண்டு வரை, இராணுவ வலிமை மற்றும் உள்ளார்ந்த நிர்வாகக் கொள்கைகளால் குறிக்கப்பட்டது. இராஜராஜேஸ்வரம் என்றும் அழைக்கப்படுகின்ற ஸ்ரீபிரகதீஸ்வரர் கோயில் (பெரிய கோயில்) ஆனது, கி.பி. 1003 மற்றும் 1010 ஆம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு இடையில் இராஜராஜ சோழனால் கட்டமைக்கப்பட்டது.

❖ The birth anniversary of the Chola emperor Raja Raja Chola I is celebrated every year during the Sadhaya Vizha in Thanjavur. ❖ The Sadhaya Vizha takes place in the Tamil month of Aippasi (mid-October to mid-November). ❖ He was born as Arulmozhi Varman in 947 CE and rose to become one of history’s most illustrious and visionary rulers. ❖ Raja Raja’s reign, from 985 to 1014 CE, was marked by the military prowess and profound administrative vision. ❖ Sri Brahadeeswarar Temple (Big Temple) called Rajarajesvaram built by emperor Raja Raja Cholan between 1003 and 1010 CE.

Vizhuthugal – One Stop Centre

❖ Tamil Nadu Chief Minister inaugurated ‘Vizhuthugal – One Stop Centre’, set up at Kannagi Nagar in Sholinganallur, Chennai ❖ It provides health-related rehabilitation services for persons with disabilities. ❖ This is established by the Department for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons and is part of a World Bank-assisted T.N. Rights Project. ❖ A total of 273 such centres are to be established under the project. ❖ This is the first time in India that rehabilitation professionals of special education, optometry, audiology and speech therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and psychological counselling are coming under one single roof.

India’s Nafithromycin

❖ India has launched the first indigenous antibiotic "Nafithromycin" for resistant infections. ❖ It has been developed with the support of "Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council" (BIRAC). ❖ This has been brought to the market under the trade name "Miqnaf" by pharma company "Wolkardt". ❖ Nafithromycin marks a historic breakthrough as the first new antibiotic in its class to be developed globally in over 30 years.
