மனிதர்களில் பதிவான முதல் 'பறவைக் காய்ச்சல்' பாதிப்பு

ஒரு குழந்தைக்கு பறவைக் காய்ச்சல் இருப்பது தற்போது உறுதிப்படுத்தப்பட்டு உள்ள காரணத்தால் மனிதர்களில் பதிவான முதல் 'பறவைக் காய்ச்சல்' பாதிப்புப் பதிவாகி உள்ளதாக ஆஸ்திரேலியா அறிவித்துள்ளது. இந்தியாவில் இருந்த போது அந்தக் குழந்தைக்கு பறவைக் காய்ச்சல் A (H5N1) தொற்று ஏற்பட்டிருக்கலாம் என கருதப்படுகிறது. மனிதர்களில் ஏற்படும் பறவைக் காய்ச்சல் A (H5N1) நோய்த் தொற்றும் "பறவைக் காய்ச்சல்" என்றே அழைக்கப்படுகிறது. இந்த குழந்தைக்கு ஏற்பட்ட நோய்ப் பாதிப்புதான் ஆஸ்திரேலியாவில் பதிவான அதிக நோய்த் தொற்றுள்ளப் பறவைக் காய்ச்சல் வைரசின் முதல் பாதிப்பு மற்றும் நாட்டில் H5N1 மாற்றுரு பாதிப்பு கண்டறியப்பட்ட முதல் பாதிப்பு ஆகும்.

❖ The Supreme Court declined Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR)'s request to direct the Election Commission (EC) to upload polling station-wise voter turnout data during the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. ❖ It stated that there is no legal mandate to provide Form 17C to any person other than the candidate or their agent. ❖ The Form 17C from the Conduct of Election Rules, 1961, records a multitude of data, o Electors assigned to each booth o Number of registered voters in the area o Number of voters who decided not to vote o Number of voters not allowed to vote o Number of votes recorded (data from the EVM) o If the number of votes recorded is equal to number of voters minus those who did not voteo Data about ballot papers (received, issued, and not used/returned) o Data about paper seals (numbers issued/used/returned).

PM-KUSUM திட்டம்

தமிழ்நாடு மின் உற்பத்தி மற்றும் விநியோகக் கழகம் (TANGEDCO) ஆனது PM KUSUM திட்டத்தினைச் செயல்படுத்துவதற்கு புதிய வழிகாட்டுதல்களை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.சூரிய சக்தியில் இயங்கும் நீரேற்றி அமைப்புகளை நிறுவ விவசாயிகளை மிக நன்கு ஊக்குவிப்பதே இதன் நோக்கமாகும். மாநிலத்தில் 5,000 வேளாண் பயன்பாட்டு நீரேற்றி அமைப்புகளை நிறுவும் வகையில் இத்திட்டம் செயல்படுத்தப்பட உள்ளது. மாநில மற்றும் மத்திய அரசுகள் இணைந்து இந்தத் திட்டத்திற்கான செலவில் 60 சதவீதத்தினை மானியமாக வழங்கும், மீதமுள்ள 40% செலவை விவசாயி ஏற்க வேண்டும். PM - KUSUM என்பது பிரதான் மந்திரி கிசான் உர்ஜா சுரக்சா ஏவம் உத்தன் மஹாபியன் என்பதாகும்.

PM-KUSUM scheme - Tamilnadu

❖ The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) has issued new guidelines to implement the PM - KUSUM scheme.  ❖ It aims to encourage farmers to instal solar energy-powered pump sets. ❖ The plan is to implement the scheme for 5,000 agriculture pump sets in the State . ❖ The State and the Central governments will together give 60 % of the cost of the project as subsidy and the farmer will have to bear 40 % of the cost. ❖ PM - KUSUM stands for Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan.

Gangetic Dolphins in India

❖ According to the Wildlife Institute of India, currently, about 4,000 dolphins are present in the Ganga and its tributaries. ❖ The number of Gangetic dolphins in Uttar Pradesh is expected to be 2,000. ❖ It is more than half of the total number of Gangetic dolphins found in India. ❖ In Uttar Pradesh, the dolphins are mainly found in the Chambal River. ❖ Ganges river dolphin also known as blind dolphin, Ganges susu or its scientific name is Platanista gangetica. ❖ It is mainly found in the mainstream of the Ganga River and its tributaries, Ghaghra, Kosi, Gandak, Chambal, Rupnarayan, and Yamuna.  ❖ Gangetic river dolphin was declared the National Aquatic Animal of India on 18 May 2010.
