தங்க கையிருப்புப் பரிமாற்றம்

இந்திய ரிசர்வ் வங்கி (RBI) ஆனது, ஐக்கியப் பேரரசில் இருந்து இந்தியாவில் உள்ள அதன் காப்புப் பெட்டகங்களுக்கு தோராயமாக 100 டன் (1 லட்சம் கிலோகிராம்) தங்கத்தைக் கொண்டு வந்துள்ளது. 1991 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்குப் பிறகு இந்தியா இவ்வளவு பெரிய அளவிலான தங்கக் கையிருப்புப் பரிமாற்றத்தினை மேற்கொள்வது இதுவே முதல் முறையாகும். இந்திய ரிசர்வ் வங்கியின் தங்க கையிருப்பில் பாதிக்கும் மேற்பட்டவை, வெளி நாடுகளில் பாங்க் ஆஃப் இங்கிலாந்து மற்றும் பேங்க் ஆஃப் இன்டர்நேஷனல் செட்டில் மென்ட் ஆகியவற்றில் பாதுகாப்பான பெட்டகங்களில் உள்ளன. தோராயமாக மூன்றில் ஒரு பங்கு உள்நாட்டில் சேமிக்கப் படுகிறது. * 2024 ஆம் ஆண்டு மார்ச் 31 ஆம் தேதியன்று நிலவரப்படி, மத்திய வங்கி அதன் அந்நியச் செலாவணி கையிருப்பின் ஒரு பகுதியாக 822.10 டன் தங்க கையிருப்பினை கொண்டு உள்ளது. இந்தியா தற்போது, தனது தங்கக் கையிருப்பின் பெரும்பகுதியை அதன் சொந்தப் பெட்டகங்களில் வைத்திருக்கும்.

தமிழ்நாட்டின் மின் உற்பத்தித் திறன் 2024

32,595 மெகாவாட்டாக இருந்த தமிழகத்தின் மின் உற்பத்தித் திறன் ஆனது 36,671 மெகா வாட்டாக அதிகரித்துள்ளது. 17,785 கி.மீ புதிய உயர் மின்னழுத்தக் கம்பி இணைப்புகளும், 31,705 கி.மீ நீள குறை மின்னழுத்தக் கம்பி இணைப்புகளும் நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ளன. 2,739 MVA திறன் கொண்ட 54 புதிய துணை மின்நிலையங்களும், 33/11 KV திறன் கொண்ட 46 புதிய துணை மின் நிலையங்களும் நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ளன. மே 02 ஆம் தேதியன்று ஏற்பட்ட 20,830 மெகாவாட் என்ற இதுவரை இல்லாத உச்சகட்ட மின் தேவையானது எந்த சிரமமும் இல்லாமல் பூர்த்தி செய்யப்பட்டது. சூரிய மின்னாற்றல் உற்பத்தித் திறன் 8,496 மெகாவாட்டாக அதிகரித்துள்ளது.

KAZA Summit

Transfer of gold reserves

❖ The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has moved approximately 100 tonnes (1 lakh kilograms) of gold from the United Kingdom to its vaults in India. ❖ This is the first time since 1991 that India has undertaken such a large-scale transfer of gold reserves. ❖ More than half of the RBI’s gold reserves are held overseas in secure custody with the Bank of England and the Bank of International Settlements. ❖ Approximately one third is stored domestically. ❖ The central bank held 822.10 tonnes of gold as part of its foreign exchange reserves as of March 31, 2024. ❖ India will now hold most of its gold in its own vaults.

கதிர்வீச்சு எதிர்ப்பு ஏவுகணை 'RudraM-II'

இந்தியா Su-30MKI என்ற போர் விமானத்தில் இருந்து வான்வழி-நிலப்பரப்பு கதிர்வீச்சு எதிர்ப்பு ஏவுகணையை வெற்றிகரமாகச் சோதனை செய்துள்ளது. RudraM-II கதிர்வீச்சு எதிர்ப்பு மீயொலி ஏவுகணை பாதுகாப்பு ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் மேம்பாட்டு அமைப்பினால் உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. RudraM-II எதிரி நாட்டின் பல வகையான தாக்குதல் அமைப்புகளை எதிர்கொள்கின்ற மிகச்சிறந்த ஏவுகணையாகும். இந்த ஏவுகணையானது, 300 கி.மீ. தூரம் வரை சென்று தாக்கும் திறன் கொண்டது மற்றும் திட உந்துவிசை ஏவு கல இயக்கி மூலம் இயக்கப்படுகிறது. இந்தியாவானது தற்போது ரஷ்யாவின் Kh-31 என்ற கதிர்வீச்சு எதிர்ப்பு ஏவுகணையை இயக்குகிறது.
