2024 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான காவிரி நீரின் பங்கு

இம்மாதத்தில் காவிரி ஆற்றின் தண்ணீர் வரவு 76 ஆயிரம் மில்லியன் கன அடியை (டிஎம்சி அடி) எட்டியுள்ளதால், தமிழ் நாடு இந்த ஆண்டிற்கான பங்கான 177.25 டிஎம்சி அளவு நீரைப் பெறும் நிலையில் உள்ளது. ஆகஸ்ட் 28, 2024 நிலவரப்படி, ஜூன் 1, 2024 முதல் தமிழ்நாடு தோராயமாக 174.7733 டிஎம்சி அடி நீரினைப் பெற்றுள்ளது. ஜூன் மற்றும் ஜூலை மாதங்களில், பெறப்பட்ட நீரின் அளவுகள் முறையே 2.25 டிஎம்சி அடி மற்றும் 96.54 டிஎம்சி அடி ஆகும்.  1974 ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் ஆகஸ்ட் மாதத்தில் பெறப்பட்ட நீரின் தரவுகளை ஆய்வு செய்தால், 50 ஆண்டு காலத்தின் (1974-2023) சராசரி அளவு சுமார் 62 டிஎம்சி அடி அளவாக இருந்தது.

Cauvery water annual share 2024

❖ With this month’s Cauvery realisation touching around 76 thousand million cubic feet (tmc ft), Tamil Nadu is on the verge of receiving its annual share of the river water: 177.25 tmc ft. ❖ As of August 28, 2024, the State received approximately 174.7733 tmc ft, since June 1, 2024. ❖ In June and July, the figures of realisation were 2.25 tmc ft and 96.54 tmc ft, respectively. ❖ A perusal of the data of realisation for August since 1974 would reveal that the average figure for the 50-year-long period (1974-2023) was 62 tmc ft.

National Medical Register Portal 2024

Private hospitals under MRMBS

❖ The Health Department has initiated the process of empanelling private hospitals under Dr. Muthu Lakshmi Reddy Maternity Benefit Scheme (MRMBS). ❖ The scheme provides financial assistance to the poor pregnant women mandated delivery at government institutions till 2017. ❖ Thereafter, the government has approved extension of the scheme to those who availed themselves of free health services at private medical college hospitals. ❖ In 2018, it was co-branded with the government of India’s Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY). ❖ In its present form, the scheme extends the financial assistance to the tune of ₹18,000 that included two maternal nutritional kits each worth ₹2,000.

❖ Antihyperhydrogen-4, Heaviest Antimatter Hypernucleus Ever, was discovered recently. ❖ It contains 1 antiproton, 2 antineutrons, 1 anti-Lambda hyperon. ❖ This antihyperhydrogen-4 decays when it is only a few centimetres away when it is trapped by an anti-Lambda hyperon. ❖ The newly discovered antihyperhydrogen-4 was produced at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) in the United States. ❖ Antiparticle is a subatomic particle that has the same mass as another particle and equal but opposite values of some other properties.
