உலகின் முதல் அணுக் கடிகாரம்

World’s First Nuclear Clock

Green Haryana manifesto – 2024

❖ In a first-of-its-kind initiative, environmentalists in Haryana released the 'Green Manifesto 2024' to focus on ecological issues. ❖ It was raising various pressing issues such as air pollution, waste management, depleting ground water level, and the need to protect the Aravalis. ❖ The State had the lowest forest cover in India, a mere 3.6% as compared to the national average of 21%. ❖ It is also having eight of the 50 most polluted places in the world ❖ The main demand in the ‘Green Manifesto 2024’ is to legally designate the Aravallis including the Bhood areas and the Shivaliks as ‘Critical Ecological Zones’. ❖ It also demands legislating a ‘Tree Act’ for Haryana on the line of the strict Delhi Preservation of Trees Act 1994.

நாடு முழுவதும் பதிவாகும் கண் தானத்தில் தமிழகம் சுமார் 25 சதவீத பங்களிப்பைக் கொண்டுள்ளது. 2021-22 ஆம் ஆண்டில் 5,422, 2022-23 ஆம் ஆண்டில் 8,274 மற்றும் 2023-24 ஆம் ஆண்டில் 9,400 கண் தானம் பதிவாகியுள்ளன. தானம் செய்யப்பட்ட 92.85% கருவிழிகள் உறுப்பு மாற்று அறுவை சிகிச்சைக்கு என்று பயன்படுத்தப் பட்டுள்ளன. கடந்த மூன்று ஆண்டுகளில், இராஷ்ட்ரிய பால் ஸ்வஸ்த்ய காரியக்ரம் மூலம் 4,87,469 பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்கு கண் பார்வைத் திறன் ஆய்விற்குப் பின்னர் கண்ணாடிகள் வழங்கப் பட்டன.

Eye donations in Tamil Nadu 2024
