Shilp Samagam Mela
- The Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has launched the 'Shilp Samagam Mela 2024. It aims to showcase and promote traditional handicrafts from various states in India. During the event, the TULIP' programme was launched.
- TULIP' stands for Traditional Artisans' Upliftment Livelihood Programme. This initiative aims to empower marginalised artisans. It provides them with an online platform for global exposure and sales of their products.
