Email policy for Tamil Nadu
- The email policy for Tamil Nadu government employees was unveiled recently.
- It warns against the emails containing language derogatory to religion, caste and ethnicity, and those containing anti-national messages and obscene material.
- About 1.10 lakh people are using the official email services of the Tamil Nadu government.
- Tamil Nadu introduced email services for secretaries and other users within the Secretariat for internal and external communications in 2008.
