❖ Over 30 crore labourers have registered on the e-Shram portal in the last three years.

❖ In 2014-15, 15.84 crore people had registered but the number has gone up to over 29 crores in 2023-24.

❖ The E-Shram Portal, to support and empower the unorganized workforce, was Launched by the Ministry of Labour and Employment on 26th August 2021.

❖ By December 19, 2024, the E-Shram portal has 30,48,02,313 registrations.

❖ Thus, it has emerged as the world’s largest database of unorganized workers.
